Sizing Help
The size of the converter you need depends on the type of load you will be operating and the total number of machines you will run at one time. A hard rule is higher starting inertia loads require larger mass converters. We advise you to consult with our sizing specialist in order to assure accurate sizing selection but you may consider the following sizing information to gain some insight.
- A 2 HP washer/extractor machine requires a 5 HP converter
- A 3 HP tablle saw requires a 3 HP converter
- A 5 HP Milling machine requires a 7.5 converter
- A 7.5 HP cnc requiires a 15 HP converter
- A 10 HP baler requires at least a 20 HP converter and preferably a 25 HP
- A 10 HP air compressor requires at least a 20 HP converter and possibly a 25 HP
- A 15 HP submersible pump requires a 30 HP converter
- A 20 HP centifugal fan requires a 40 converter
