What's unique about a Remco rotary converter? We start with a custom designed high-slip rotor. This special motor reduces electrical noise and provides high torque. These are proudly made in America, unlike most converters which are 'off the shelf' and/or made offshore. Our control panels are first class and our wiring configuration is highly praised. Our standard design can even be used for CNC. Converter enclosure is NEMA 3-R design, powder- coated with a hinge door and wall mounting brackets.

Converter Packages

• Phase Converter Convenience Package
  
  The "CP" is our most popular feature - allowing for the converter to install in minutes. Includes a prewired push-button on/off switch with power indication light, main contactor that starts the converter and controls the three-phase load, overload adjustable heaters with reset for protection of the rotary motor and input/output connection blocks. Simply connect L1 and L2 plus the ground to our input block and T1/T2/T3 from our output block to your load center to begin machine operation. This design is above and beyond any other phase converter connection system.
  


• Phase Converter Soft Start Package
  • The "SS" is an affordable custom built-in current cutter.
    
  • Reduces starting current of the converter
  • Eliminates brownouts or voltage flicker on utility power lines
    
  • Reduces wear and tear on disconnect switches and converter bearings
    
    
  
  
• Automatic/Manual (AM)
  • The "AM" phase converter package is an extension of the manual convenience package, allowing for the customer to start and stop the converter manually or unattended through a remote control panel.
  • Includes external three-position selector switch
  • Internal 110-volt connection strip and time-delay relay
  • Three-phase contactor for external load
