Remco dates back to 1977 when I became a phase converter sales representative for my father, and has been family owned and operated ever since. Today, Remco is recognized as an industry leader by offering a high quality product at a fair price backed by experienced application and electrical knowledge with a customer first philosophy.

My father was Robert N. Cotanch who valiently served the United States in WWII as the Captain of the B-29 "Super-Sue" named after my sister. Dad logged over 3,000 combat hours flying missions over Japan. Dad's squadron even led a final assault on Japan not knowing the war had ended and bravely flew at rooftop levels over Tokyo as a final display of victory!

Super-Sue eventually succumbed to metal fatigue/engine failure and today rests somewhere on the bottom of the Pacific. Fortunately for Dad he was not onboard.

Robert Cotanch later became a leading pioneer in phase converters and developed the first commercial rotary phase converter back in 1964. He was instrumental in my interest and involvment in the industry.
